  1. It doesn't work with Slovak language 🇸🇰, youtube didn't generate any auto titles for my vids. Or am I missing something ? 🤷‍♂ (BTW great vibe of your vids, thanks 👌)

  2. Thank you so much! Seriously. I can not believe in AC (after COVID) where we all had to be online, FCP doesn't have a better option! You are really amazing for sharing this little gem. Do you have any tricks in changing the format of those imported subtitles in FCP in some kind of batch process? Highlighting several doesn't seem to work. I have hundreds to do. Thanks all!

  3. Thank you so much bro! I was looking for a smart and cheap solution to handle captions and I'm very happy I found your video.

For those who don't want to wait for hours to let YouTube make the SRT file available, Facebook seems to be a very nice alternative:
Here's how you can get your SRT file in 2 minutes:
    1. Go to Facebook creator studio (I think you need to own a Facebook page to access the creator studio)
    2. Import your video
    3. Hit next button
    4. On subtitles options, click on Parameters
    5. Wait a few seconds (or a few minutes for a longer video) while FB is creating the SRT file
    6. Download SRT file

  4. Thanks for sharing this! It’s a huge problem for FCP. Question for you: can you move position and change font of ALL captions at one time? Something tells me once the titles have been converted, you can change fonts, colors etc, but it’s still a one by one thing. You can’t “select all” like in premier and make changes to them all in FCP. Can you confirm?

  5. What are your thoughts on the software "descript"? – It transcribes plus a ton of other things. I felt It was a bit clunky but to be fair I used it back in its beta. I'm always looking for tools to improve work flow even if its just better understanding how to use the tools. haha

  6. Hi, after I uploaded the video, the subtitles were not made automatically all I saw was an "ADD" button. Where and how I should set up in order to have auto subtitles generated? Thanks a lot.
