Google search console is a web tool for webmaster and website owners. This tool helps webmasters to monitor their search appearance performance.
To access the Google Search Console data every website owner needs to verify their site in google search console using any of the following methods html tag, html file, google analytics, google tag manager or DNS txt record.
There are two types of property type in Google search console:
1. Domain
2. URL Prefix
In this video, I have talked about Google Site Verification Using DNS TXT Record.
In domain ownership, you will get complete search performance data for your domain including http, https and subdomains.
Verifying domain ownership via dns record is really very simple. Go to search console and add your domain name, further click on continue and copy the DNS txt record. Now add search console txt record in your domain dns. You will domain dns in your domain account or hosting account.
You can also use the same method to verify ownership of your wordpress website in search console using DNS Record.
