  1. "everything u feel for me…as ur queen." I can't handle that level of palpable sexual tension lol. Ironic cause in a way they are the cersei and jaime of this show lol. the last 3 mins aside, i thought this was an excellent episode. it felt like a white house political thriller with a "race against time" feel from start to finish suspense. When Otto was moving the chess pieces, Beesbury yelling, Caswell hanging…I was on the edge of my seat. I knew how good it was when it had reactors already coping for compeuppance lol. Tom Glynn-Carney showed excellent range as Aegon. But it all got overshadowed by 3 mins of a Rhaenys "happy ending" smdh. The crowning ceremony was a visual historygasm, finally befitting a king in the got verse. The actors for Otto, Alicent, Aegon did a great job. Plus the "window in the wall of your prison" wasa chef's kiss line.

  2. Rhaenys hasn't read Fire & Blood to know of horrors to come. Therefore her pre-emptively nuking half her own family would've been OP. Having said that, the Rhaenys bit was to give audience a 'send home happy' moment which wasn't necessary. The coronation was fantastic in itself. But gawd forbid the ''bad guys' are on top in one episode. Those who thought lowborns of KL have any obligation to support Rhaenyra are in for big disappointments. Aegon claims his birthright from popular King Jaehaerys' Great Council stating king's firstborn male son is next king. Viserys himself won it over Rhaenys like that. Best part of this was the politics, less dragons the better. Despairing mom version of alicent does highlight her humanity more than the colder and ruthless iteration of the actual green council. A well needed adjustment imo but also a continuation of her very humane Harrenhall or knife scene mistake. They've constantly shown subtleties in her character which audience wilfully ignores since we're watching this as a team sport and we gotta cheer team lovable manipulative dad. Her being more humanized shouldn't be an issue unless one wants the show to remain grotesquely tilted towards Black (Laenor death,Vaemond order, etc)

  3. The only downside to having watched episode ten early was running over here to see your review of it straight afterward and realizing I'd have to wait several hours… Shows how much I enjoy your channel that it was the first thing I thought of after the episode!

  4. This series is a snooze fest. Bad acting, low end CGI and production, and the story is not compelling. After 9 episodes I have yet to be enthralled, unlike GOT where every episode was a fun ride in one way or another, the characters and actors were outstanding and the production was stellar. Maybe the last season didnt thrill everyone, but the series was one of the best ever made for any screen. HOTD is a hot mess.

  5. I thought it was a great episode however I didn't like the suttlencus ges that the show made from the book (e.g. Viserys delirium talk, Queen Alicienne truly believing King Viserys wanted her son to be king, the death of the master, the dragon showing up at the coronation). I thought the book had it right and what was done in the book is true to real life not just true to over the top drama

  6. I was screaming at the TV when Visearys or whatever de the dead king was spoiling the secret dream. Of course she would interpret it this way, why do people rename there childeren names of people who are dead this would have totally changed the whole story if it didn't hahaa oke just my thoughts

  7. Great episode up until the end. That last scene made no sense. The writers ruined Rhaenys ,a great character from the books. She murdered countless small folk but allowed the guilty party to live.

  8. I feel like most of what Alicent does in the show is motivated by what Otto told her when he left King's Landing the first time, heavily implying that when Rhaenyra ascends to the throne, she will probably kill Alicent's children. So, when Aegon asks her if she loves him, I think her replying with "You imbecile" was followed by an unspoken "Everything I've done for your whole life was for you. To save YOU".

  9. I wanted Rhaenys to give her dragon the command to light them up🤣🤣 when they say her on that dragon, I know that someone let loose a bowel movement🤣🤣🤣
