Well, the first two options worked and for the most part, the Gulp setup worked–almost. After installing Gulp and running it as gulp, I got a restricted error in my Windows. A quick look online with the error, the solutions were to install Gulp-cli and I also had to unrestrict my Windows PowerShell. I did that and then gulp worked. However, my setup was exactly like yours and once I did the gulp buildStyles, it did not create my main.css file in /assets/dist/css/. I went back and redid everything 3 times. Once again, gulp buildStyles did not create the main.css file in /assets/dist/css/ even after the noted successful build in 25ms. So, for me, the tutorial ended with option 3 using Gulp. I'm also changing my Windows PowerSheild back to Restricted (much safer) and removing gulp-cli. I'm not sure if others encountered this point in the tutorial, but for me, three times, it's simply not creating that main.css file.
Hi, I did everything as you did and I'm having just a little issue loading my custom JS scripts, for example when trying to load Popover didn't work. I import my script after import bootstrap: "document.querySelectorAll('[data-bs-toggle="popover"]').forEach(popover => {new Popover(popover)});" they compile correctly with import, I have elements with [data-bs-toggle="popover"] attributes as BS component documentation, doesn't diplay any errors in console, everything is looking good but Popover doesnt work. Anyone know what I'm missing here?
I really enjoyed your video.
It's very well explained and very well mastered on your part.
Thank you 🙂
