In this lesson, I explain how I go about curating text collected while doing my research. In this example, I’m using a list of supplemental principles derived from the [Privacy Shield]( which is part of the recently enacted EU-US Trans-Atlantic Data Protection Framework (President Biden issued an [executive order on Oct. 7, 2022]( to enact this regulation). To be more precise, I explain how to copy a formatted list from the Internet and then transform the items in the list into individual notes, the list into a lowercase comma-separated list, and how to populate and attribute (e.g. $MyList) with each of the list items (i.e., so that I can use the values for future work). Through this lesson you learn about some fundamental Tinderbox capabilities, including stamp, action code, the .replace operator, explode functions, and regular expression (RegEx).
