  1. Did they remove the pre-update test tool? I upgraded to 3.10.10 last night, switched the channel to Joomla Next, and I don't see it on the update page. Thanks for all the great info!

  2. The admin side of Joomla 4 looks nice but NOT as user friendly as the Joomla 3. Honestly, the left side menu is NOT better than the top menu with the drop down.

  3. Best advise given by Jim. I did exactly as Jim said. Got the site perfect to upgrade but the upgrade still crashed my site (there were some stuff in J4 that caused the crash as well as some errors in a compattible J4 extention. Please use this opertunity as Jim said to scrutinese EVERY extentions against the rule of "If I can do withoutof it, is it of limited use or "profitibility" to the my site. tash it" If, again like Jim indicated the updates is in the future THINK about it There are developers that slept on upgrades to J4. Many are talking of next year July. IS THAT a good developer. I don't think so. Check when the extention was last updated. Some were years ago. Do you need this old stuf. I dont think so. I used 3.10 to modernise my site. Try the same. You will be amazed of the amount of crap you thought long ago was good stuff but fell way behind. Another point is that many extentions are realy now incorporated into the J4 core So using somefree are paid extentions is a waist of time
